Royal Caribbean says boarding operations will begin at 11:00 a.m. instead of the originally planned start time.
Guests arriving significantly earlier than their updated appointment may be asked to wait until terminal operations are ready.

Mariner of the Seas is still expected to depart Galveston at its scheduled time later that afternoon.

The next voyage departing June 13 will follow the same itinerary, allowing guests to enjoy the same ports without any modifications.
That means travelers can still expect the vacation they originally booked despite the slight embarkation delay.

Although Royal Caribbean has not confirmed specific details, passengers currently sailing onboard have shared accounts suggesting a young girl required emergency medical treatment and was evacuated by helicopter.
According to guest reports, the child was transported to New Orleans for urgent surgery.
