With so much to offer for an adventure-filled, entertaining, and luxurious experience, Royal Caribbean cruises are more than simply a staycation.
Every moment is planned for maximum enjoyment, from stunning attractions to world-class cuisine and classic infrastructure.
A refreshing drink by the pool, enjoying a gourmet meal, or watching the sunset in hand can uplift your voyage on water.
The Royal Caribbean cruise line provides a wide range of drinks, including gourmet coffees, refreshing mocktails, fusion cocktails, and excellent wines.
While cruising with Royal Caribbean, I realized that beverages are not included in the package, and the cost of a few beverage options is too high.
I paid $14 for a cocktail, $8 for a beer, and $3.50 for a soda can respectively. But the good news is that they also offer a few drinks for free.

Point to Remember
On cruises departing from the UK, the cost of each drink includes an 18% gratuity when you receive the bill.
Whereas an 18% gratuity is already added to the drink price on the menu if the ship is departing from the UK.
Hence, the cost of drinks looks higher when the departing destination is the UK.
While exploring different places and bars aboard Royal Caribbean, I have come across its drink menus, and the interesting part is each area has its unique menu with differences in the prices as well. Read below to know the menus in detail:
Pool Bar Menu

This menu has both alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic options. Being beside the pool, offers more refreshing options, keeping in mind that kids visit this area more often. The drinks mentioned in the menu are available at every outdoor bar on the ship.
Schooner Bar Menu

This was one of my favorite spots to wrap up the night on my Royal Caribbean cruise. This themed lounge with live music and a grand piano goes well with perfectly crafted cocktails.
The menu was packed with creative classic drinks, from a tropical Old Fashioned to a champagne cocktail with Domaine Chandon.
They serve royal and classic wine options, and a glass of wine starts from $9, whereas a bottle costs around $33 onwards. The glass price of a hard rum with a zesty twist is $14.
Wonderland Cocktail Menu

Wonderland is a specialty restaurant in a few Royal Caribbean ships. As sophisticated and refreshing as their name suggests, the drinks here are worth trying.
The cost of the cocktail varies from $14 to $7. A selection of my favorites are listed below:
1. Heilos in the Sand
Cream of Coconut, Pineapple Juice, Bacardi Superior rum, Coco Lopez, and mint leaves

2. Dream Catcher
Apricot Brandy, Grand Marnier, Basil Hayden’s bourbon, lemon & orange juices and simple syrup
Bamboo Room Menu

The cruise ships Mariner of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas have this unique yet stylish cocktail bar with a Polynesian theme.
With every taste, the exquisitely crafted cocktails will whisk you away. The cost of the cocktail is between $10 and $15.
A glass of wine can cost as much as $14, while a bottle of wine can cost as much as $50 to $70. In contrast, beer is somewhat inexpensive, costing about $8.
Remember to take a photo with the Tiki mugs, which can be bought with any cocktail.
Playmakers Bar Menu

The ships from Freedom class, Oasis-Class, and Icon class are among the fleet’s ships that have Playmakers, a sports bar.
It’s a sports bar where everything you order is a winner, including match-day favorites and refreshing draughts.
You’ll find a great selection of stimulating beverages that go well with the burgers and the five-scoop Touchdown Sundae. The drinks on the menu range between $7 and $20.
Mini Bar Menu

Reading this name you might think of a small and cozy setup where drinks are served.
Instead, you’ll discover that your minibar is empty, and you can place orders using a menu that you can mark off and attach to the handle of your door. Getting drinks from the room was more tranquil.
Can You Carry Your Own Drinks?
Unlike P&O Cruises passengers are not allowed to buy bottles of liquor to drink on Royal Caribbean ships.
Each cabin is permitted to transport up to two 750 ml bottles of wine or champagne for use within the stateroom, per carry-on regulations.
There is a $15 corkage cost per bottle if you want to consume your wine in public while on a cruise.
On a cruise, guests are permitted to carry up to 12 cans, bottles, or cartons of non-alcoholic beverages per stateroom.
Enjoy every sip without any surprises now that you have a general understanding of Royal Caribbean’s drink prices.
There is a drink for every occasion on board, whether you’re enjoying a specialty cocktail by the pool or a gourmet coffee to start the day.
Although drinks are not included in the regular rate, make sensible plans for your cruise by either budgeting for individual drinks or selecting a drink package.
