CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES HAS A MESSAGE FOR OUR TWO MILLION  SHIPBOARD CRUISER FOLLOWERS

Dear Phil,

On behalf of Carnival Cruise Line®, I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well after the devastating storm Florida and the Caribbean have endured.

Thousands of guests found their vacation plans disrupted by Hurricane Irma and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we weathered the storm together. I am also grateful for the thousands of Carnival employees shoreside and shipboard who supported our guests and our operations before, during and following the storm.

The relationships we have with our friends and partners in Florida and the Caribbean are essential to us. Carnival remains committed to helping our partners and the places we visit in times of crisis, and this past week is no exception. I want you to know that we are working on outreach and support for those islands already impacted. We have been in communication with officials in many of the Caribbean islands and have activated a plan to begin delivery of supplies, on both an immediate and long term basis. As we await news of Irma’s full impact on Florida, we stand ready to provide support, as needed, to affected ports and communities. Carnival Corporation Foundation has also begun to evaluate the best channels for support in the Caribbean, as well as Florida, once assessments are completed.

This has been a difficult time for everyone impacted by Hurricane Irma. In the coming months as we rebuild our communities, we’re confident that we’ll come out of this even stronger than before. Thank you again for your support and understanding.
